Parkhill Station 2002 Mack Tanker
The Big Guy named in memory of Fire Chief George Elliot, has a 4000 imp. gallon aluminum tank, fast dump and 2 Porta-Ponds with a capacity of 2,000 Imp gallons each. This truck has a 350HP Mack engine with a 8 speed transmission, for lot of get up and go, making it the fastest vehicle of the Parkhill fire station. It also has safety rails on top of the tank behind the cab to support 2 fire fighters attacking a grass or farm field fire, while the truck travels along the leading edge of the fire.
